The entryway console titled ‘Khwahishon ki seeriyan’ is part of the ‘Imārat’ series of furniture items. “Once any object serves its primary utilitarian purpose, art is free to bestow it” believes the designer. Embodying a series of staircases carved between the arched openings, the console is reminiscent of the maze of staircases building up the curiosity of what lies beyond and showing the way to accomplish ones dreams. Chiseled out from a monolith Carrera marble block, this console depicts finesse and artistry.
